The Basket Weave is a very useful stitch in the crochet world. People have used it for blankets, clothing, bags, beanies, headbands, and much more.
Double Crocheting around front and back posts is what give the appearance of the crochet being worked in 2 different directions.
Just like all the blocks in the Sampler Afghan Series, you are welcome to come and learn just this stitch. Then use it as you wish.
Weight: Dk or Worsted
Yardage: approximately 110 depending on weight
Hook: Suggest working with weight recommended size
